The baptism of the Holy Spirit is important. Christ told his revolutionary followers after His resurrection that they should not depart from Jerusalem but wait for the promise of the Father. "For John truly baptized with water but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence" (Acts 1:4-5).
Jesus said He would build His Church and the gates of hell would not prevail against it. That governing Church, His Church, would be filled with ruling and reigning disciples, a royal priesthood of kings, operating with explosive faith.
